Dentures are false teeth which is the comfortable solution to tooth loss. It can be partial (a few teeth) or full mouth. Denture pain is extremely common as dentures can be difficult to adjust in at first. Common symptoms are swelling in gums, redness, irritation in gums and sores. Dentures can be extremely painful and cause pain while fitting. Problem worsens in old people as the jawbones and gums shrinks and can lead to ill-fitting of dentures.
Another problem with dentures is that the upper denture can be well-placed as the suction on the upper gum will stay but the placement on the lower gums sometimes floats. Hard food and other particles can also get stuck in the dentures and can cause friction, which can lead to sore spots and irritation in the mouth. Dentures create difficulty mostly among the new wearers and, besides ill-fitting, it can also lead to vomiting in some cases. Garlic with turmeric
Boil two cups of water in a vessel. Now add ½ tsp. of turmeric powder and 3 minced garlic cloves in the boiling water. Let it boil until it reduces to 1-cup water (approximately 15 minutes). Turn off the heat and strain out the liquid into a glass. Drink lukewarm liquid every morning after oil pulling to make your gums strong and cure any dental infection.
Pluck 3 to 4 guava leaves from the guava tree, chew on them for 5 minutes, and spit it out. Another way is to boil these leaves in water and consume the juice once a day to heal denture pain naturally.
Just a small scope of butter can be miracles for denture pain. Here is how you use it: use your finger to take out butter and slowly massage your gums in circular movement around the whole mouth. This remedy can give you good results only if you do it twice daily for one week.
Grab a black teabag online or from any shop nearby. Prepare black tea by soaking teabag in hot water for 15 minutes. Let it steep, add 1 Tsp. honey and that’s all! Enjoy your healthy healing tea and reduce suffering of denture pain.
Boil water in a vessel until it gets hot. When the water has heated up to medium temperature turn off the heat. Dip a face towel in the hot water and then squeeze the excess water from it. Apply the heat in the cloth on the cheeks to get relief from gums pain. Repeat it for five times for good results.

Eat soft food
People with dentures should eat soft food and chew small bites when complaining of irritability.
Glycerin is anti-inflammatory in nature and can treat cuts, wounds and sores. People who complain of sores and inflammation in gums and tongue area should massage their gums with glycerine. It will help treat the sore spots caused due to dentures.
Vinegar helps in cleansing the dentures. Users can soak their dentures in a glass full of water mixed with drops of vinegar. It will helps take the dust and other solid particles out of the dentures in an easy manner overnight.
Take about 70g bottle gourd extracts and mix it with 17g of garlic extracts. Boil it in some water. Take the cold mixture and gargle. The water will help treat the sores and irritation in mouth.
Consume about 3g of dry ginger powder with a glass of lukewarm water to ease the pain and irritability in gum area. It is a very effective solution for swollen gums.
Pull a little almond oil into the mouth and gargle for some time. Take the oil out and massage the gums and tongue with the remaining oil. It will help normalise the blood circulation in the gums, reduce irritability and can soothe the sore spots.

Aloe vera gel is a great anti-inflammatory agent. It can be applied to the gums to help soothe the gums. Massaging the gums with aloe vera gel will also help relieve pain.
Dissolve some alum crystal in a glass of water and gargle with this water. It will help soothe the gum area.
Boil some acacia leaves in some water. Let the water cool down a bit. Gargle with this water. It will help soothe the mouth region.
Paste of acacia leaves can be applied in swollen gums to ease the pain and reduce the swelling.
